Why should I replace missing teeth?

Although one's appearance is generally a popular reason, there are other reasons that replacing missing teeth may be a good idea for you. The gap left by a missing tooth can mean more strain is put on the teeth at either side. A gap can also mean your ‘bite' is affected, because the teeth next to the space can lean into the gap and change the way the upper and lower teeth bite together. This can then lead to food getting packed into the gap, which causes tooth decay and gum disease. If you are missing a majority of your teeth, then your goal may be that you want the ability to chew food, as well as to smile confidently again!

For any of these services, you will need to be booked in for a consultation.

If you have teeth that need to be removed beforehand, we can look at doing those for you. You will usually require a few months of healing time before you can proceed with the next steps.

At a consultation you will speak with a dentist and have the appropriate imaging scans done to assess whether or not you are a good candidate for that service. Once the dentist has had time to review and approve those scans, we will call you to book you in for an appointment.

Please note that most things will require several appointments, with some wait time in-between each step.
